This set of full frame anamorphic primes offers a competive image quality for smaller-budget jobs. It has lovely bokeh, vibrant lens flares, aluminum alloy housing, and weighs barely over 2 lbs. When shooting in 3:2, this 1.6x lens will yield a 2.4:1 aspect ratio, and when shooting in 16:9, you get a much wider 2.8:1 image. When paired with the screw-on 1.25x expander/adapter, the 1.6x is converted to a full 2x squeeze for the classic anamorphic look. The 1.25x expander can also be paired with spherical lenses, giving them an expanded field of view, horizontal flares and a slight oval bokeh.
