HOW DO I PICK UP OR DROP OFF EQUIPMENT?
If you are simply picking up equipment we will have your equipment ready by 3pm the day before your shoot date. If you need to pick up earlier please contact us to make arrangements. We have a designated pick up/return area at Garage Door #1 at our location. Cars and trucks can pull up to this door. Equipment returns are expected back by 10am the day after your shoot and can be returned as early as 8am on the return day.
WHAT IF I CANNOT GET BACK IN TIME TO RETURN EQUIPMENT BEFORE YOU CLOSE?
We would appreciate a call as the equipment you have may be needed for another project. If you call us prior to the end of the day, oftentimes we can arrange for the gear to be returned at a later time after hours or the following day at no additional charge.
DO YOU DELIVER EQUIPMENT ORDERS?
Our delivery fees are based on time of day, quantity of gear, and distance from our location. Our general policy is to only offer delivery for rental orders of $1200 or more. Once we know when and where you need delivery, we can provide you a quote for the delivery. We also require that a member of your crew be present for drop-off and pick-up. Rates quoted are for curbside or dockside delivery only.
DO YOU PROVIDE SHIPPING FOR EQUIPMENT RENTALS?
Our preferred shipper is FedEx. If you can provide us with a FedEx account number, we are happy to ship your order using your account and discounts. Please keep in mind, shipping quotes are estimates only. Only after the shipment has posted to fedex.com is the final cost of shipping known.
IF I DO NOT HAVE EQUIPMENT RENTAL INSURANCE, CAN I STILL RENT EQUIPMENT?
We will rent equipment without a Certificate of Insurance given you can provide a credit card for the replacement value of the items you are renting. We hold that amount on your card during the duration of the rental. When you return your order, we will release the hold on your credit card minus the rental fee.
DO YOU ACCEPT CREDIT CARDS?
Yes, we accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. We do not keep cards on file for security reasons. So to make a payment we will first need to complete checking in your order and can then send you a payment link from our payment service stripe.com to make your credit card payment. There is a credit card convenience fee to use a credit card. To avoid this you are welcome to pay via ACH or send a check.
CAN I ORDER EQUIPMENT AND IMMEDIATELY PICK IT UP?
In most cases, yes. While we prefer to have as much notice as possible, we do accommodate last-minute requests.
WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?
We are located at 6158 Olson Memorial, Hwy Golden Valley, MN 55422.
WHAT IF YOU DON'T HAVE THE GEAR WE NEED?
If we don’t have it we can find it through a network of professional rental houses we work with regularly. We have a large amount of equipment available, even if it's not on our website we may have it. Please be sure to contact us and we will do our best to source the equipment you need for you.
DO YOU OFFER INSURANCE?

WHAT IS "EXCLUSION FOR THEFT FROM AN UNATTENDED VEHICLE"?
"Exclusion for Theft from an Unattended Vehicle" means if someone breaks into your vehicle and steals the equipment, the insurance company will not cover the incident. We require all Exclusions for Theft from an Unattended Vehicle be removed from your insurance policy.
A note to the insured party on your Certificate of Insurance.
“My company is listed as the insured. Is that ok?” As long as your company’s name and address match what's on the rental agreement, that is fine. If not, the account holder’s name must be added as the Insured.
“I’m the account holder, but would like to use my friend’s insurance.” Unfortunately, we can only accept the account holder’s insurance. Another person/company’s insurance will NOT be accepted, because their policy will not legally cover your rental.
CAN I USE SOMEONE ELSE'S INSURANCE POLICY?
No, you cannot use someone else's insurance, you cannot "borrow" a policy, and you cannot "have a friend cover your rental".
We require that the person who is in charge of the production be listed as the Insured Party on the policy, and we do not allow renters to use a policy that does not have them (or their Producer/Production Co) listed directly on the policy.
HOW DO I KNOW WHAT INSURANCE I NEED?
We require two kinds of insurance for our rentals: Equipment Coverage and possibly Auto Rental Insurance if you rent a vehicle from us.
