Kowa Anamorphic Lenses

Modernized by P&S TECHNIK for today's demanding filmmakers, the popular Kowa anamorphics are beloved 2x Japanese anamorphic lenses from the 60’s and 70's, now in a robust and modern housing with professional focus and iris gears and markings. The original Kowa anamorphic glass offers all the anamorphic charm, vintage look, and personality that have made them so popular and highly sought after. They are low in contrast and warm in color with an easily obtainable warm flare. Kowas are also popular for their small size as they work well for handheld, Movi, car mounted, or steadicam work. Our Kowas are switchable between PL and EF mounts.

We also have the new 32mm and 135mm 2x Kowa Evolution primes, which are based on the original optical design of the Kowa Anamorphics and the P+S TECHNIK lens rehousing and feature the same look of the original glass.
