NEW in lens rentals at CineMechanics: the new Mercury Series of anamorphic lenses from Atlas Lens Co. The Atlas Mercury Anamorphics feature Full-Frame coverage, lightweight & compact body design, and lots of geometric personality while still maintaining a high level of optical fidelity. The Mercuries are well suited for both Full-Frame and Super 35 shooting, and despite their 1.5x squeeze factor, they maintain a lot of the character one would expect from a traditional 2x such as oval bokeh, barrel distortion, and an overall impressionistic feel.
