The Sony Burano 8K is a Full Frame Digital Cinema Camera packed with features that make it a highly versatile tool for narrative films, documentaries, and anything in between. The Burano is smaller and about 33% lighter than its big sibling, the Venice 2, which will come in handy for those who want to use it in handheld configurations or on a gimbal. It also features Sony's top-of-the-line Fast Hybrid AutoFocus system when using the built-in E-Mount, as well as their in-body Image Stabilization (for E and PL mounts), making it easier than ever for DPs and operators to capture cinema quality images while working solo or in an unpredictable live environment. Touchscreen controls, intelligently laid out buttons, and the ergonomic handgrip control will also make this a familiar (yet improved!) operating experience for those who have worked with Sony's FX6 and FX9 cameras, while still offering the stunning imaging capabilities of the Venice and Venice 2.
